Aelia, Jenny and Jill go out to get clothes.********

As a celebration of sorts and to test Aelia's new found sim skills, the family went out to eat lunch at the local buffet. Plus Johnny wanted to go out with his girlfriend, Ophelia.

"Thanks for inviting me out to lunch, Mister and Mrs. Smith!" Ophelia chirped politely.

"You're very welcome, dear, we love having you." Jenny replied, she had always been partial to Ophelia, a kind and intelligent young woman.

"I wanted you to meet my auntie, babe." Johnny gestures to Aelia.

"Greetings, I am happy to meet my nephew's life partner." Aelia smiled cheerily, she totally nailed it.

Johnny's cheeks reddened at 'life partner' but Ophelia took it in stride.

"It's nice to meet you! Are you Mister Smith's sister from uh, you know." Ophelia gestures vaguely upwards, "Upstate?"

"Upstate?" Aelia questioned but Jenny groaned,

"How did you know?"

"Just a hunch, Mrs. Jay." Ophelia shrugged, "But I'm sure most people wouldn't even notice!"

So maybe Aelia still had to work on her speech a little.

After eating, the group got home and Johnny was immediately on his phone in the living room.

"Ugh, this stupid thing!"

Aelia wandered into the living room, peeking over at the couch where Johnny was fiddling with his plum phone.

"Why are you upset?" Aelia questioned, sitting down beside him.

"I've been trying to text Ophelia forever today and this plumphone is so dumb and the signal sucks!" Johnny groaned.

Aelia was unsure why he was so inclined to text Ophelia, they had gone out just a few hours ago but she didn't question him.

"Do not fret, I can upgrade it for you like I did with the device your father gave me." Aelia assured, the plum phones were quite easy to tinker with and upgrading hers to work vastly better had been the first thing she had done when she got it.

"Really? Thanks Auntie!" Johnny replied in relief, handing over his phone.

Aelia wandered about the house and gathered up a few spare parts and pieces before getting to work fixing up Johnny's phone.

Meanwhile Johnny resigned himself to just using his laptop to talk to Ophelia.

The next day before school, Aelia presented Johnny with his new and improved phone, nicely gift wrapped and everything.

"You're the best! Now I'll be able to talk to Ophelia all the time!" Johnny exclaimed, like he hadn't been doing that already.

The upgrade worked so well that Nine suggested Aelia sell the patent for some extra simoleons. This proved to be a fantastic idea and Aelia soon was given a hefty sum for her 'amazing' work.

Aelia wasn't entirely sure it was worth that much, considering she had just been tinkering with it, but she wasn't about to argue with a huge wad of cash.
